This course has been a new, refreshing, challenging, and informative process compared to the other Organizational Learning classes in the past. As a working professional, I never knew of the technological tools that instructors and trainers have to help create better learning platforms for employees. In today’s society, we have the ability to train, instruct, communicate, and motivate our employees through social media, online videos, gamification, and through mobile technology. As a leader, knowing how to better motivate employees for success by enhancing training programs is an essential function of enhancing your bottom line.

Image result for learning in the 21st centuryAlthough I felt confident in knowing most of these technological tools, I was able to learn how I can use them in the workplace. In addition, after creating my portfolio using a blog, I learned how to create a learning platform that I can share with others who are seeking to enhance their learning of technology. The most effective tool that I feel is practical in my day-to-day life is the use of video conferencing. As a supervisor of multiple people spread throughout a wide geographical area, video conferencing is the most useful and effective tool I have at my disposal to communicate with my team. Not only can I communicate in real time, I can prepare presentations and share them with everyone without the expense and time of travel to a central location.


I will likely share my guide with others who are interested in learning technologies however; it was solely created as a school assignment. It may not have the same information that they might be wanting, but it will be a guide or template for a student who is creating a similar project and can benefit to other learners or students.
